Longhorns who studied abroad, we want to hear from you and share your story!
Submit a piece about a personal experience, family story, or creative myth that touches on global and international themes by Tuesday, Nov. 10. Authors of selected pieces will be invited to read/perform their story during A Night of Global Voices, a special event celebrating International Education Week, on Monday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. in San Jacinto Residence Hall.
Don’t have a story to share? Then join us to hear the stories. University Housing and Dining and Texas Global invite the UT community to celebrate the beginning of International Education Week with A Night of Global Voices. Listen to live readings of global stories and poems from your fellow UT students, inspired by their personal experiences and family stories. Enjoy boxed snacks filled with tasty, internationally-inspired treats.
Social distancing guidelines will be enforced and the event will be held outdoors if weather permits. Wear a face covering as you check-in and find your seat and complete the symptom survey on the Protect Texas Together app. As in-person capacity is limited, we highly recommend to RSVP online in advance. The event will be live-streamed online as well.
