Horns meet World. World meet Alex. Alex is a junior Corporate Communications major and is spending her semester at the University of Melbourne in Australia.
Her 6 weeks abroad so far have taught her that “it’s a humbling experience” and that she loves “how much [she] is learning about herself.”
Highlights of Alex’s experiences so far:
1) Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef.
2) Jamming out at a spontaneous Switchfoot concert.
3) Eating a kangaroo burger and lots of Australian ice cream.

Great post.
Nice post and thanks for sharing the experience of Alex’s. It seems cool.
Is she doing part time work with study? I never tasted a kangaroo burger; I want to give it a try.
Gone through your blog and thank you for sharing your experiences. Definitely worth suggesting to students who are looking to study abroad.
Alex, your time in Melbourne sounds exciting and very real. Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef and trying a kangaroo burger are experiences many of us only read about. I like how you reflect on learning about yourself while abroad. Looking forward to reading more on your blog.
