Alex’s Australian Adventures – A Longhorn Blogs from Melbourne

dscn6679Horns meet World. World meet Alex. Alex is a junior Corporate Communications major and is spending her semester at the University of Melbourne in Australia.

Her 6 weeks abroad so far have taught her that “it’s a humbling experience” and that she loves “how much [she] is learning about herself.”

Highlights of Alex’s experiences so far:

1) Snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef.

2) Jamming out at a spontaneous Switchfoot concert.

3) Eating a kangaroo burger and lots of Australian ice cream.

To read more about Alex’s time in Melbourne, check out her blog at Upside Down and Backwards.

Is she doing part time work with study? I never tasted a kangaroo burger; I want to give it a try.
